Trading
At Post, trading is considered a value-added activity. Our traders have strong quantitative and analytical skills and maintain quality relationships with the street. Post Traders work closely with the investment team and PMs to identify investment opportunities and evaluate market conditions, aiding in the active management of our portfolios.
Evan Cascio
Evan joined Post in 2009 from Avenue Capital Group where he worked as a Trader responsible for trading high yield and distressed securities up and down the capital structure. Prior to joining Avenue Capital, Evan worked for Bear Stearns as a Trading Assistant on the equity block trading desk. Evan received his Bachelor's Degree from Providence College.
Jimmy Choi
Jimmy joined Post in 2004 from Western Asset Management where he worked as a MBS Settlement Specialist. Prior to Western Asset Management, Jimmy worked as a Junior Bond Trader at Allegiance Capital, Inc. Jimmy received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from Loyola Marymount University.
Stephen Cook
Stephen joined Post in 2009 from Western Asset Management, where he was an Analyst in the Analytics/Risk Management Group. Stephen received his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of California Santa Barbara, with a Minor in English. Stephen is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
