Andrew Berg
Andrew joined Post in 2005 after spending five years as a Senior High Yield Analyst at Financial Management Advisors. Prior to joining the “buy side,” he was an Associate Director in the High Yield Research Department at Bear Stearns, where he earned Honors as an Institutional Investor All-American Fixed-Income Research Analyst. Prior to that, he was an Associate in the High Yield Debt Group at Credit Suisse First Boston. Andrew earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Arizona State University where he graduated Cum Laude and an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Columbia Business School.
Daniel Cubell
Daniel joined Post in 2008 from NewStar Financial where he was a Vice President providing senior, second lien and subordinated debt financing in support of a range of financial sponsor-backed transactions. Prior to NewStar, he was a Vice President at Lane Berry, a middle market investment bank offering M&A advisory and capital raising services. Prior to that, Daniel worked at Credit Suisse First Boston, following CSFB's acquisition of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in 2000. Daniel received his BSE from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
C.J. Foster
C.J. joined Post in 2008 after working as a Vice President for Bear Stearns in the High Yield Research Group. Prior to Bear Stearns, C.J. worked at Prudential Financial as a Fixed Income Research Analyst and as a Financial Analyst with Ernst & Young. C.J. received his Bachelor's Degree in Finance from Rutgers University and is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Schuyler Hewes
Schuyler joined Post in 2012 from Apollo Investment Management where he was a Principal focusing on high yield bonds and mezzanine securities. Prior to Apollo, Schuyler was a Director at UBS Securities where he worked on a variety of leveraged finance, M&A and restructuring transactions. Previously, he worked as a Financial Analyst at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Schuyler graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Economics from the College of Arts and Sciences and a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School.
Derek Hwang
Derek joined Post in 2011 from Houlihan Lokey where he worked as a Financial Analyst in the Financial Restructuring Group. Derek received a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
David Kim
David joined Post in 2005 from Credit Suisse First Boston in Los Angeles, where he worked as a Financial Analyst. David received a Bachelor's Degree with High Honors in Business Administration from the University of California Berkeley.
Jeffrey Lapin
Jeffrey joined Post in 2005 after working as a Co-Portfolio Manager and Partner at Tablerock Fund Management. In that capacity, he jointly oversaw a multi-security long-short portfolio, including a specific focus on stressed and distressed companies. Prior to Tablerock, Jeffrey was an Analyst at Avenue Capital Group and an Analyst at MJ Whitman, Inc. Before that, Jeffrey was a Bankruptcy and Workouts Attorney at Dewey Ballantine and White & Case. Jeffrey received his Bachelor’s Degree in Government from Georgetown University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude, a Juris Doctorate from Northwestern University School of Law and an MBA in Finance and Accounting from the Stern School of Business at New York University, where he graduated with Honors.
Richard Lee
Richard joined Post in 2008 after serving as an Equity Trader and Foreign Exchange Dealer, trading currencies for ABN-AMRO. More recently, he spent several years as an entrepreneur and started several small business ventures in the food and retail industries. Richard received a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Dartmouth College and an MBA with Honors from Columbia Business School.
Vijaybalaji Padmanabhan
Vijay joined Post in 2012 after spending four years as a Investment Analyst at the Proprietary Investment desk at Citigroup in London where he was responsible for conducting fundamental and technical analysis of High Yield and Distressed securities globally with Europe as main focus. Prior to Citigroup, Vijay was an analyst in the Distressed Investing team at Old Lane (hedge fund) based in London. Previously, Vijay was a Senior Consultant in a Supply Chain Consulting firm based in Boston. Vijay earned his Bachelor of Engineering degree from University of Madras, Master of Science degree from Virginia Tech and subsequently earned his MBA degree specializing in finance from London Business School.
Kapil Singh
Kapil joined Post in 2012 from Four Corners Capital Management where he was a Senior Vice President focusing on leveraged loans and high yield bonds. Previously, Kapil was a Credit Analyst at Bradford & Marzec, where he focused on high yield bonds, and a Vice President at PPM America, where he focused on distressed debt. Kapil was also a leveraged finance banker at Heller Financial. Kapil received his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his MBA in Strategy and Finance from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management where he received the Jane Robertson Memorial Academic Excellence Award. Kapil is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
